BY CAR
Along the A1 highway Milan-Rome, either coming from the North or the South, take the exit called “Monte San Savino”. Turn right in the direction to Castiglion Fiorentino. You will come to a crossroads after about 5 Km where you have to turn left. Then you will see a traffic light in Cesa and continue towards Castiglion Fiorentino. Once arrived in the little town, follow the signs to Cortona. At the third traffic lights turn left in the direction to Città di Castello / Polvano / Pievuccia. Go straight ahead up to the junction in front of a church, where you will turn right following the signs to Pieve di Chio. Cross the village of Santa Cristina and continue for about 7 km, until you find on the left another junction to Cantalena. After 4.4 km (4 km are a dirt road) you will arrive to Casale Cantalena.
If you are already in Cortona, the quickest way to arrive is to take the street towards Castel Girardi. Once arrived in Castel Girardi, turn left in the direction to Sant’Egidio and after 3.5 km follow the signs to Cantalena. Drive along a dirt road for 4.5 km and you will find Casale Cantalena.
